On 17 February 2025, the DISCOVER project was showcased at the MOBICCON-PRO conference titled “Building the Future: EU / US Perspectives on Innovation, Technology Deployment, Circular Construction and Sustainable Energy”, held in Brussels. The event, hosted at FIEC premises, brought together leading stakeholders from both sides of the Atlantic, to exchange views on the future of sustainable construction and innovation.
During the conference, DISCOVER was represented by its partner Tracimat, who participated in a panel discussion alongside representatives from related initiatives, including the REDOL and RECONSTRUCT sister projects. The session focused on key themes such as circular economy practices, technological progress, and the importance of cross-sector collaboraration for innovation.
The panel discussion underlined the importance of aligning circularity with competitiveness, strengthening transatlantic cooperation, and accelerating the transition towards more sustainable construction practices. It also highlighted the need for closer collaboration between public and private actors to scale up clean technologies.
Participation in this high-level event reflects the DISCOVER project’s ongoing commitment to contributing to the transition towards a more sustainable, resilient, and innovation-driven construction sector!
