DISCOVER (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information during the implementation of the DISCOVER project.

2. Data Controller
The data controller for this project is the Panhellenic Association of Engineers Contractors of Public Works (PEDMEDE), located in Athens (Greece) (address: 23 Asklipiou street, 10680, Athens, Greece), responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

During the course of the project, we may collect the following types of personal data:

When communicating with us via email, we invite you to provide your name, as well as your mailing address. Please note that your name and mailing address is the only data we collect required for the specified purpose. The legal basis for processing Personal Data for the purposes set out in this Section 2 is art. 6(1)(b) of GDPR as the processing is necessary for the response to requests from the interested party.

We use Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction and for statistical reasons. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website.

Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. Your computer’s IP address is anonymized by GA services and cannot be used to personally identify you. We consider Google to be a third party.

GA makes use of cookies, details of which can be found on Google’s developer guides. Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website.
