At the European Robotics Forum 2025 (ERF 2025), held from March 25-27, 2025  the DISCOVER Horizon project presented its latest advancements in using robotics to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of construction and deconstruction processes. The project presented by our partner CDEI-UPC Centre de Disseny d’Equips Industrials.

Lluís Bonet Ortuño from CDEI-UPC shared how DISCOVER is leveraging cutting-edge robotics to tackle key challenges in construction. He was joined by experts such as Antonio Alonso Cepeda, coordinator of the BEEYONDERS project, Dr. Jason Rambach, coordinator of HumanTech and Dimitris Giakoumis, coordinator of the RoBétArmé Project Horizon Europe, to showcase the transformative potential of robotics in building and demolition.

The DISCOVER project highlights how robotics can help address labor shortages, reduce waste, and drive the construction industry toward a more sustainable and eco-friendly future.

The ERF 2025 provided the perfect stage to present these innovations, solidifying the project’s role in shaping the future of robotics within the construction sector.
