The DISCOVER project was represented by our coordinator UPC – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya at the 13th Conference of the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation in Spain – Horizon Europe, held on 16 June 2026 at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya in Barcelona.

The event brought together key representatives from the European Commission, the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, CDTI, Generalitat de Catalunya, research organisations, universities and innovation stakeholders. The programme included high-level sessions on Excellent Science, Innovation, and Collaborative Research and Innovation, reflecting the main pillars of Horizon Europe.

As part of the conference, a dedicated poster exhibition was organised, offering Horizon Europe projects the opportunity to present their objectives, activities and expected impact to a wider audience of research and innovation actors. UPC presented the DISCOVER project through this poster exhibition, highlighting the project’s work on digital and robotic solutions for sustainable construction, selective demolition and circular management of building materials.

UPC’s participation contributed to DISCOVER’s dissemination activities and strengthened the project’s visibility within the Spanish and European research and innovation community. Through this presence, DISCOVER continues to promote its contribution to a more circular, resource-efficient and digitally enabled built environment.
