In April 2025, the DISCOVER Horizon Europe project was presented during the General Assembly of PEDMEDE in Greece by the President of PEDMEDE, Mr. Konstantinos Gkoliopoulos.

The presentation offered construction companies and sector representatives the opportunity to learn more about the project’s objectives, activities, and expected contribution to the construction sector.

During the presentation, DISCOVER’s approach to sustainable deconstruction, material recovery, and reuse was highlighted, with a particular focus on how digital and robotic solutions can support the transition towards a more circular and resource-efficient built environment.

The presentation also underlined the importance of engaging construction companies in Greece in the adoption of circular economy practices and in supporting the sector’s green and digital transition.
